カワズ第3号・KAWAZ Issue 3

第3号では「リサイクル＆アップサイクル」をテーマに、活動されている方たちを特集しました。身近なことから、環境にやさしいこと、コミュニティに貢献できること、そして何より、人にやさしくなれることに取り組んでいる姿が魅力的でした。 【カワズとは】 「サステナブルな生き方とコミュニティ」をテーマに、自由な発想で今までとは違った生き方や繋がりを作り出そうとしている人たちを応援するための本です。 サステナブルやSDGsが盛んに言われるようになってきましたが、どこか従来の資本主義社会のマインドから抜け切れていないのではないか？新しいマインドセットへとシフト行くための「思考のサードプレイス」となることを目指して、サステナブルな生き方とコミュニティを実現していくためのヒントを集めてみました。 年に２回程度の発行を予定しています。（本文はすべて日英併記です。） In the third issue, we covered people engaged in recycle and upcycle activities. who are so attractive as starting from small things to be effective and thoughtful about the environment, communities, and other people! 【About KAWAZ】 KAWAZ is a book focusing on "sustainable living and communities". It celebrates those who are trying to create different ways of living and connecting with others from brand new perspectives. Recently, we more often hear sustainability and SDGs, but it seems that we still maintain the capitalistic mind since the previous century. As wanting to shift to a new mind set, we collected ideas and activities that inspire us for sustainable living and communities. We are trying to create a third place for thinking and reflection to facilitate such shifts. It will be issued twice a year, and all articles are written both in Japanese and English.

創刊号に引き続き、第2号でも「本が紡ぎ出す繋がり」をテーマに、個性的な取り組みをされている方たちを取材させて頂きました。今回は、関西で活動されている方をメインに取り上げました。 【カワズとは】 「サステナブルな生き方とコミュニティ」をテーマに、自由な発想で今までとは違った生き方や繋がりを作り出そうとしている人たちを応援するための本です。 サステナブルやSDGsが盛んに言われるようになってきましたが、どこか従来の資本主義社会のマインドから抜け切れていないのではないか？新しいマインドセットへとシフト行くための「思考のサードプレイス」となることを目指して、サステナブルな生き方とコミュニティを実現していくためのヒントを集めてみました。 年に２回程度の発行を予定しています。（本文はすべて日英併記です。） In the second issue, we continue to focus on "Ties forged by books", featuring unique personalities engaged in one of a kind activities. ラリー・ギャレット『悪人が癒されるとき』

横暴と残虐で知られるサダム・フセインの長男ウダイ。 その心の奥底に触れ、父親のような愛情を向けた療法家の体験談。 Original : Healing the Enemy by Larry Garret 作者紹介：ラリー・ギャレット 1942 年生まれ。ギャレット催眠・健康センター所長。1968-69 年にアメリカ催眠研究所（The National Hypnotic Institute）にて、催眠のトレーニングを受ける。その後、米国催眠士協会 (NGH)認定催眠士として、50 年以上に渡って、催眠を行っている。催眠士としての活動に加え、イリノイ州のコミュニティカレッジでは 30 年近く教鞭を取る他、医師と協力して催眠を活用した治療なども数多く行っている。 （参考 URL：http://www.larrygarrett.com/）
